Rez is a fun on-rails shooter, and an interesting audiovisual experience. I far prefer it when games like this allow you to move your character around also - usually with the right analogue stick - but I enjoyed Rez despite this. The music - particularly for the later area and the newly added Area X - is really good. I don't personally enjoy score attack games all that much - I usually beat them once and never touch them again - and Rez hasn't compelled me to change this approach. I liked Rez, I think it's ahead of its time in some aspects, but I'm not really sure if I vibe with some of its controls.

A chill but also stressful game about selecting things on the screen and let the game play music for you while you follow a trippy rollercoaster and have no clue what's going on. Enjoyed it and the Area X addition. Worth it.
