Returnal is a 2021 roguelike third-person shooter video game developed by Housemarque and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It follows Selene Vassos, an astronaut who lands on the planet Atropos in search of the mysterious "White Shadow" signal and finds herself trapped in a time loop. After crash-landing on a shape-shifting alien planet, Selene finds herself fighting tooth and nail for survival. Every time she’s defeated, the player is forced to restart the journey.

Game is good, story is a bit obvious, but it is alright. The only concern I really have is the runs length. Like 2-3 hours is waay too much. Biggest problem is that sometimes you clear the room in few seconds and than spend few minutes to get loot. Will see how will it be in second game, but 1h runs would definitely improve the game :)

Игра затягивает. Затягивает своей простотой и сложностью одновременно. Постоянные смерти делают тебя все сильнее, закаляя для будущих сражений. Графика, геймплей и сюжет всё на высоте! Плюсы: + постоянный экшн + множество вариаций абилок оружия + повествование сюжета + графика + разные биомы сражений Минусы: - смерти, просто горит жопа когда тебя с кучей артефактов выносит какой-то моб с миллионом колец и снарядов - как ни странно сюжет. Что происходит НЕ-ПО-НЯТ-НО!

Good game, gameplay loop a little shallow, but feels great to play what's there. Story is interesting, and is the main thing that kept me going through the game. Enjoyed the DLC as well, but honestly once I had found out most of what there is to find out, I was happy to leave the game be. Good job!

Returnal es un #roguelike de disparos en tercera persona desarrollado por Housemarque y publicado por Sony Interactive Entertainment. Selene es una astronauta que siguiendo una extraña señal aterriza forzosamente en un planeta alienígena. El accidente nos atrapa en un bucle donde nos obligan a regresar al punto de inicio cada vez que morimos. Si bien perdemos la mayoría de los ítems cuando morimos, la generación aleatoria del mapa hace que sea adictivo y no se sienta tan repetitivo. Además, los escenarios son increíbles y hay variedad de aliens. Explorar también nos ayudará a desvelar la historia y a encontrar diferentes parásitos, artefactos y armas que nos facilitaran avanzar. Algunos items te pueden lastimar y/o ayudar, así que hay que pensar si te convienen. Los sonidos y la incertidumbre de un planeta desconocido generan una atmósfera increíble. Es un juego desafiante y, si la historia no te motiva puede generar frustración y sentirse repetitivo.

ATMOSFERA:7 +Gameplay veloce ed arcade +Certi momenti densi d'atmosfera +Feeling di certe armi -Ripetitivo, mi sembra di stare a fare sempre la stessa cosa indipendentemente dal bioma:muoversi continuamente,schivare e sparare -Struttura roguelite mal contestualizzata al gameplay -Nemici poco vari e dimenticabili Lo consiglio? Si, è un buon gioco ma nulla di più:uno dei rari casi dove la struttura roguelite stona.

RETURNAL es un juego experimental que combina gameplay de 3rd person con elementos rogue-like. Con una acción super frenética, llena de tensión, excelente movilidad, muy buena variedad en armas y enemigos, y un buen misterio para mantenerte enganchado al juego que te castiga por cometer los mínimos errores. En este juego, cuando mueres vuelves al principio. El problema es que una corrida puede tardarte horas largas (de 3-6 horas si decides explorarlo todo) para que de momento te mueras y tengas que realizarlo todo de nuevo. Es un juego sumamente implacable y requiere de la paciencia del jugador ya que al principio es un poco tedioso en lo que te acostumbras a la dinámica. Me encanta el sistema de parásitos que ofrecen buffs y debuffs y como buen rogue like que ofrece mejoras permanentes para que la corrida sea más llevadera. También amo el sistema de la Adrenalina donde te ofrecen buffs por matar enemigos sin ser golpeado. Sin embargo, no empiezas a sentir una diferencia hasta avanzar bastante en el juego cuando te dan por ejemplo la tirolesa (zipline) para moverte de un lado a otro con gran agilidad. Aunque con todo y 82 horas de juego a veces podía morir en cualquier momento. Los niveles, que aunque eran generados procedimentalmente, ofrece suficiente variedad gracias a los cinco biomas que ofrece esta experiencia. El favorito siendo el último (el de agua). Es un juego retante pero si te gusta estos tipos de juego y estás dispuesto a aguantar la vas a pasar súper bien. Especialmente si tienes con quien jugarlo en coop ya que la experiencia es mucho más llevadera de esta manera. Desafortunadamente, la historia es decepcionante ya que el ''ACTO 3'' es puro relleno donde solo ofrece un cambio en perspectiva y no le brinda al jugador el catársis donde al menos le ofrece alguna solución satisfactoria al jugador. En especial cuando este juego, luego del ACTO 2, le pide al jugador a hacer la madre de los fetch quests para un final tan pobre. Este juego definitivamente debía terminar en el ACTO 2. Habiendo dicho eso, sigo pensando que es un buen juego. El juego también ofrece la torre de Cícilo (DLC gratis) donde te enfrentas con una serie de enemigos en donde te recompensan por terminarlo más rápido. Es una experiencia más ''arcadey'' y consona con el estilo de gameplay que ofrece. A RETURNAL le doy un 8/10.

17 deaths the 3rd boss on 3rd phase kept kicking my butt T^T i like the RNG games when they make you a bit stronger after each run, this is like HANDS all over again where its just skill and luck to win
