Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is a third-person shooter and is a spin-off of the long-running Resident Evil series. Unlike the main games in the series, it is less of a survival horror game and more of an action-packed shooter. The game includes twelve playable characters, however the players can choose only four characters for the online modes. Each team member has their own special role and abilities.

Fun game to play with friends based on the well known horror game series. Not recommended to play solo, and high difficulty sometimes spike too hard.

This game just feels like an attempt at making Left 4 Dead but in the RE universe. Combat actually wasn't bad most of the time and the story was an interesting enough what-if scenario to keep me going. The good/bad endings don't really add much though since they seem to end on a sudden cliffhanger that will never be resolved. There were some interesting levels like the one where you guide Sherry through dark areas using flares. Not a great game by any means. It's mid, but it's a fun mid. Lol
Also I played solo, though I'm sure the game is much more fun with friends.

A good laugh I guess, Coop is playable atleast. Played through this game 2023 lmao, did not think it would be possible since it is rare to even play it online in 2023

While Capcom was busy developing RE6, another game was outsourced, which resulted in this action-oriented spin-off loosely based on the main series. Once again, we return to Raccoon City, where an Umbrella special forces unit is ordered to eliminate William Birkin and then track down Leon and Claire. You can even kill Leon at the end. There's also a DLC campaign featuring government special ops, which I actually liked more than the main story.
The gameplay is fast-paced but simple - a third-person shooter focused on fighting hordes of enemies, with occasional cover-based shooting against human opponents.
The game isn't bad at all, but it feels unfinished. The campaign is very short, and some gameplay mechanics aren't fully polished. Still, it's fun and interesting enough that I wouldn't recommend skipping it.
