In the curious village of St. Mystere, townsfolk speak to each other in riddles, lock their doors with sliding puzzles and hide their secrets within brainteasers. When a wealthy baron passes away, his will reveals an elusive treasure hidden someplace inside the village. Puzzles galore!🧩😎
Really liked this game! It had so many clever puzzles, fun writing, and a story that was quite predictable but very well executed. I especially loved the animated cutscenes, though I wish they were longer—or that there were simply more of them.
The puzzles are fun and varied, but never too complicated. If something seems too difficult, there’s usually an easy trick solution. For me, there were a few real head-scratchers, but overall the puzzles leaned on the easier side. I assume that’s because part of the target audience was younger players, hence the lower difficulty.
I played it on my phone, which was a fun experience—the port was really well done! Plus, it felt a lot healthier for my brain than the usual brain rot stuff I consume on it. Excited for the next game!🤩

(Kinda curious to see how they’ll tie the puzzles into the narrative in the following games, considering how well it was done here😮)

Really really fun puzzle game, but some of the puzzles themselves really relied on the player getting super into the mind of the puzzle writer.

Tal y como recordaba es un tremendo juegón que te empiezas pensando que es solo un jueguito de puzzles y luego te clava un puñalito al corazón con tremenda narrativa y una trama increíble.
Es que todo está bien, el diseño de los puzzles, del entorno y de los personajes con un arte en 2D espectacular, la banda sonora MÍTICA de Profesor Layton que vaya temardos para ambientar cada zona, una trama que conforme va desentrañándose el misterio se vuelve más y más brutal, plot twists, humor y disfrute. Que puedo decirte si es una de mis sagas favoritas claro 🤷♀️
Recomendadísimo para todo el mundo y todas las edades (yo empecé a jugar con 10 años), pero sobre todo si te molan los juegos de puzzles (obviamente) que te dejen rayada un buen rato muchas veces, si te molan los misterios, el arte y una buena trama esta es tu mierda ❤️

Jeux terminé en LP sur YT mais aussi la première fois en off il est excellent pas mon opus favoris mais toujours incroayble pas grand chose d'autre à dire faut le faire quoi

El juego que lo inició todo. Es el único juego cuyas voces se encuentrán en inglés (para aquel que lo juegue en español), algo que puede afectar a algunos pero a mi no me molesta al disponer de los diálogos en español (a diferencia de los Phoenix Wright de 3DS). Me parece una historia brutal con una música de las mejores de la saga y con una trama muy buena. De primeras, algunos puzzles pueden resultar bastante tediosos (sobre todo al intentar resolverlos todos). Sin embargo, con la calidad que podía dar la Nintendo Ds, me parece una obra sublime que dió comienzo a esta saga como el primer juego del Profesor Layton.
