Felt Nostalgic even though I never played this game, Pac-Man World 2 was one of my fav Gamecube/PS2 games growing up and this remake of 1 upgraded a lot of the original game and it felt very similar to that.
Solid platformer that can be beaten in 2-3 sessions. Pretty easy to go through and achieve the 100% save file. The Level 9 maze trophy is NOT worth the trouble though.

Quando ad un Nintendo direct di inizio estate 2022 annunciarono il remake di Pacman World quasi non ci credevo: un remake grafico per un gioco passato alla storia più che altro per via del suo carico nostalgico piuttosto che per le sue velleità a livello di gameplay.
Eppure , Pac-man world Re-Pac è il remake grafico del titolo uscito nel 2000 per la prima PlayStation ed è un lavoro intoccabile sotto ogni punto di vista: colorato , fluido e con degli ottimi controlli.
Proprio a causa di questi ultimi si può considerare ormai il gioco un platform 3D “facile” , cosa che non si poteva assolutamente dire del game originale che , soprattutto a causa dei suoi controlli, risultava molto ostico ai più.
In questo remake i controlli sono perfetti e quindi anche la difficoltà si è abbassata di parecchio .
Graficamente bellissimo , level design vecchiotto ma ancora funzionale,OST sempre spettacolare, peccato per la mancanza totale di novità : almeno un qualche minigame o qualcosina in più rispetto all’originale avrebbe giovato.
Pac-Man World Re-Pac è un titolo che consiglio spassionatamente a chi ha amato l’originale da bambino e ha voglia di farsi un bel tuffo nella nostalgia ;mi sento però di consigliarlo anche ad un gamer giovane magari alle prime armi col genere un po’ démodé del platform 3D: in questo caso questo remake sarebbe un ottimo titolo per iniziare.

Este juego full lo jugué por nostalgia. Tengo el original en la play 1 y era un juego que aunque muy divertido, desafortunadamente no tiene mucha personalidad. Los niveles y música son bastante genéricos, los diseños de enemigos también. No tiene suficiente identidad como para distinguirlo de otros de la época como Crash, Rayman o Mario. En gameplay es muy bueno, me gustan mucho las movidas de Pacman aunque con la versión re Pac y las mejoras en las mecánicas el juego es extremadamente fácil. Especialmente porque es súper generoso dando vidas al final de cada nivel. Completé el juego con casi 200 vidas y sin farmear. Habiendo dicho eso es un juego que te mantendrá entretenido hasta completarlo. En conclusión, el juego viene a hacer lo que se propone. Hace su trabajo de divertir pero no es un juego que me verían por ahí recomendándolo a menos que seas fan de Pacman o hayas jugado el original y le tienes nostalgia.

This game is fun and I played it way a lot on PS1, I will try to platinum the game in some point. But for now I finished the game and it was hell of fun.

Otro remake de un título legendario de la era dorada de Pacman y me fue grato experimentarlo ya que es un buen juego que hizo sino disfrutar la experiencia y con grandes mejoras, sin ver menos al original. Una graciosa jugabilidad, buenos niveles y una épica aventura para la pastilla amarilla. Solo peca en ser algo corto, pero digo si vas por el 100% de todo, pues si tienes juego para rato.

Pac-Man is always interesting in each version, and this is no different. The story still feels confusing, and I wonder if I'd understand it better if I watched the show, but that's for another time.
