I put around 400 hours into this game to get the full trophy set for Rise and Sunbreak. Going through the main story was great, I really love the music and atmosphere of this game, the wirebug system is really fun once you get used to it and the monster roster is great. So many fun designs and awesome fights. The addition of a Palamute that you can use to ride and get along faster alongside your Palico for support in solo play is great, though I wish they had made the Palamute as useful in multiplayer as the Palico. Going through this game normally without going for trophies is a really nice experience that anyone can overcome with enough effort and help from fellow hunters.
Trophy hunting this game is a different story though. While rampage mode was a cool idea, I think they didn't put nearly enough into it to make it fun to do 50 times in a row. This mode had so much potential and it unfortunately fell flat. The anomaly quests are also a huge grind fest that will be the big hurdle for most trophy hunters. All-in-all a great game that is a huge time sink and pain to to trophy hunt, but oh so satisfying when it's all said and done. I will say that the trophy hunt is much nicer in this than it was in World/Iceborne.

Great game, really enjoyed it. I like World a bit more. I can't wait for Wilds, man. I'm trying to get all the Monster Hunter trophies eventually. Great progress.
1Stinky Switch game has some of the best gameplay.
this game is SO MUCH FUn to play both alone and especially with friends. it was the biggest game i wanted to get whenever i got my switch and i was forutnate enough to get to preorder sunbreak before it came out AND play the demo with some of my hunting friends!! this game is great!!
