Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the prequel to the entire Metal Gear series. Most of the series' defining gameplay elements have been carried over and as before, Snake must use stealth and wits rather than brute force to infiltrate enemy zones and eliminate his major adversaries. Unlike the previous games, this installment takes place in a large outdoor jungle. Snake is able to use camouflage, climb trees, hide in tall grass or wear clothes that make him less noticeable.

The Soundtrack, The Ladder <3 and nice Bossfights
Metal PEAK Solid strikes again! This game made me really love Ocelot's character and I feel so bad for the boss. I can see why a lot of people love this game and it lived up to the hype. The boss fights did make me age 20 years, but cobra unit is pretty cool. Ocelot cheering me on during Volgin's fight and seeing Raikov was the highlight of this game for me

This is the best metal gear game in my opinion because of a lot of things, this game has many improvements such as the movable camera instead of birds eye view, the story goes all the way back to big bosses early days (i prefer big boss over solid snake) i also love the way the game plays out starting with the virtuous mission then going into operation snake eater, the amount of thought that went into the bosses in this game such as being able to turn off the console for 3 weeks and the end just dies or how you can also kill him before the fight, switching from using rations in the previous games to now having to cure yourself and eat is very creative and diffrent which some people dont like but me personally i do like alot, i like being able to switch camos and being able to dress up as guards so i cant be detected, the best fight for me is the fury fight because i find that most challenging and fun for me, the cutscenes are amazing and well detailed, the boss is an amazing character along side ocelot (my favorite mgs character) i enjoy replaying this game all the time and i find it to be a game i come back to a lot, Most definitely a 5/5 star game for me and would recommend as the starting for people to mgs seeming as i think its the best and its first in the timeline
