Mario Kart 64 is the second main installment of the Mario Kart series. It is the first game in the series to use three-dimensional graphics, however, the characters and items in this game are still two-dimensional, pre-rendered sprites. The game offers two camera angles and three engine sizes: 50cc, 100cc and 150cc. Each kart has distinctive handling, acceleration and top speed capabilities. Shells that you fire at rival racers, Bananas that make them skid out and Lightning Bolts that make them small and very slow are just a few of the game's unique power-ups.

Joguei por meio do projeto SpaghettiKart, que faz com que seja possível jogar nativamente no PC com diversas melhorias e deixando a experiência muito boa no geral, e até que é um jogo bem divertido, os gráficos envelheceram até que bem e deixaram um certo charme, e a gameplay não é a que mais gosto da franquia, mesmo que seja possível ver ela tomando uma certa forma que resultaria na beldade que são os jogos atuais, ainda tem algumas coisas que incomodam, principalmente o fato das curvas não serem tão estáveis, você aperta para ir para a direita, e ele por algum motivo vai primeiro um pouco para a esquerda, o que em algumas fases não era um incômodo, mas em outras mais estreitas como o castelo do Bowser se tornava um completo caos. No geral, é um jogo bacana até, a gameplay tem pontos que me incomodam mas da para ir se acostumando e fazendo umas jogadas bacanas.

Well this a blast from the Past so I personally enjoyed this game when I played it back in the N64 on the NSO Emulation it's still rather fun it has it's moments on the Jankiness but I can see this game fun with friends and I had quite a fun time with this game.

Habiendo jugado a iteraciones más modernas de la saga se notan las mejoras de las mecánicas que han ido metiendo pero se sigue disfrutando como es a pesar de los años.

Há exatos 27 anos, jogando um Mario Kart 64 na locadora da minha vó <3. Vídeo games mudaram minha vida e me moldaram de certa forma.
