A brilliant game with a storied history. For a game that released around the same time as Skyrim, mods aside, Kingdoms of Amalur is far superior. The Fatesworn DLC, added long after the game's release, added interesting mechanics but was exceptionally weak in writing and story, seemingly disregarding the point of the base version.

PRO: the Siege of Mel Senshir was so fucking cool.. CON: ..that it highlighted how much better the storytelling could have been throughout all the game if they would have used at least a few cinematic on major storylines

it gets alot of shit due to the developmenthell it was in, andi t is justified an MMO that turned singleplayer RPG and dosnt do either quite right. but its filled iwth wonder, fantasy and love and hours upon hours of gameplay. for any more DnD type storytelling fans i do recommend giving it a look
