LONGEVITA':6 TRAMA:5 1/2 EMOZIONE:5/6 +Idea alquanto bizzarra +Alcune citazioni +Facilmente rigiocabile... -...ma non invoglia particolarmente -La storia non ha punti di spicco -Meno male che era gratis perchè non si gioca E' oggettivamente difficile dare una valutazione ad Hatoful Boyfriend. La visual novel di Devolver è il primo(e probablimente ultimo) titolo che gioco del suddetto genere. Si tratta di nient altro che testi a schermo senza doppiaggi con qualche(pochissime) scelta multipla che determinerà il resto della storia. Il gioco in questione parla di una ragazza che frequenta una scuola di soli piccioni. Ho provato questo titolo anche per combattere la mia fobia proprio nei confronti dei suddetti volatili ma senza sconfiggerla. Anzi. Ora mi fanno ancora più schifo. L'idea del gioco è assurda quanto originale ma la trama, pur scorrendo via in un'oretta leggera, non brilla certo per qualità. Il gioco può essere(e in teoria dovrebbe) riaffrontato varie volte per vedere i vari finali ma ,sinceramente, non ho avuto la voglia di farlo. Nonostante tutto, sarà praticamente impossibile dimenticare Hatoful Boyfriend.

This game has a lot of internet notoriety surrounding it. A lot of hype and buildup. Many famous youtubers have played it and talked about it, but I've never watched their videos. I finally gave it a try after a nudge from some viewers and I can't stress enough how shit this game is. I really enjoy visual novels, but this one is just not good. It's got a novel story, and it's definitely uh... inspired... but it's got heavy racist undertones (sometimes overtones) and it completely falls apart. When it was just a cute/funny/absurd dating sim it was really enjoyable. But once the "story" came to light it became an annoying, unenjoyable slog that barely made sense and stopped being a visual novel and instead just a wall of text you click through. This game took me 13.5 hours because I was reading aloud on my stream.

It actually took me by surprise how good this game is. Very interesting plotline, especially if you fall into the secret!

This visual novel is different and amusing. It's not every day you can go to a pigeon school and try to woo a pigeon. I had a blast seeing how this visual novel played out.

This game is a FEVER dream. I have completed 7 routes, purely because after my first [Nageki], I needed a cleanse. And then it got very interesting. Whether or not I go back in to uncover more of the world's lore remains to be seen. I think it is a fun parody of a Dating Sim and a pleasure to read for a straight-up Visual Novel. If you have a spare couple hours to delve into the ridiculous, please spend it on Hatoful.

Are you ready for a wacky adventure of birds, love and seeds galore!? Then jump in to the interesting story of Hatoful Boyfriend. It's a game where you are the main character, a human student enrolled into the prestigious St. PigeoNation’s Institute, a school for talented birds. You get to meet a lot of cool different birds and the story unravels in ways you wouldn't have believed! It's definitely an experience that you don't want to miss. It doesn't seem to take itself too seriously, but once the story starts to unfold, some pretty serious themes will be revealed as well. My favorite characters were definitely Okosan and Anghel Higure, as they were not only wacky in personality, but brought so much interesting twists to the game itself. I wasn't really fan of the soundtrack and it felt a little too repetitive and annoying, so I muted the game after a few endings I had achieved, but it didn't really take away from the experience too much. The game is definitely a recommendation from me to those of you who enjoy visual novels and intriguing wacky stories and chraracters.

So this one was suggested to me by some people in my community and... I didn't know what to expect, but it certainly wasn't THIS. I died my first attempt (which I didn't even REALIZE I could die). And then got through 3 other bird routes. Honestly? I am INTRIGUED and I can't wait to plow through all the other routes to get the full story!
