Grand Theft Auto IV is an action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the eleventh title in the Grand Theft Auto series, and the first main entry since 2004's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The game is played from a third-person perspective and its world is navigated on-foot or by vehicle. Throughout the single-player mode, players play as Niko Bellic. An online multiplayer mode is included with the game, allowing up to 32 players to engage in both co-operative and competitive gameplay in a recreation of the single-player setting. Two expansion packs were later released for the game, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, which both feature new plots that are interconnected with the main Grand Theft Auto IV storyline, and follow new protagonists.

I love this game. It's has a pretty dark tone, in a series that is usually quite humorous. Of course there's humor to be found here, but overall I found the story to be quite depressing. While I believe the graphics to have aged a bit, it's still worth another playthrough as I did recently. I have yet to play any of the DLCs, but this is a good one. Probably in the top 3 for GTA games for me!

GTA IV foi o primeiro jogo que zerei no meu canal, e isso faz dele uma parte marcante da minha história como criador de conteúdo. E o melhor de tudo? Eu gostei de absolutamente tudo nesse jogo. A história de Niko Bellic é uma das mais intensas e realistas que a Rockstar já contou. É um protagonista humano, quebrado, tentando recomeçar — e cada missão aprofunda mais essa tragédia silenciosa que é a vida dele. Os personagens são memoráveis, os diálogos são pesados, e tudo soa crível e envolvente. Muita gente reclama da física do jogo, mas eu sou do time que simplesmente ama como tudo tem peso, como os carros deslizam, como cada batida parece real. Isso dá uma identidade única ao gameplay — pra mim, não é defeito, é estilo. A cidade também é um espetáculo. Mesmo anos depois, Liberty City continua viva, cheia de detalhes e momentos inesperados. E a trilha sonora das rádios? Simplesmente perfeita Tive a oportunidade de jogar a DLC The Lost and Damned, e foi uma baita expansão. A história do Johnny, o clima mais sujo e pesado, a trilha sonora mais sombria... tudo contribui para uma experiência que se encaixa perfeitamente no universo de GTA IV. É uma narrativa paralela que respeita o tom original, e traz outro olhar para aquela cidade cheia de histórias. Infelizmente, não consegui jogar The Ballad of Gay Tony por causa de um bug, o que foi frustrante — especialmente por saber que ela é mais estilosa e colorida, e fecha a trilogia de expansões com chave de ouro. Mas ainda tenho vontade de resolver esse problema e viver essa parte também.

Невероятно классная физика движения, есть достаточно много шуточных сцен визуально, и в диалогах с братом главного героя. Есть неприятный баг на финальной миссии при игре на пк, нужно залочить на 30 фпс. Прошёл на 2 разные концовки!

вторая революция в моём представлении о видеоиграх. ашалел от механики рэгдоллов, графики, детального повреждения машин и радиостанции с русской музыкой. в то время не знал про Брайтон-Бич, поэтому не понимал, к чему всё это и почему я иногда мог услышать русскую речь либо увидеть русские вывески. очень сильно запомнилась угрюмая атмосфера, с которой я не сталкивался в других частях серии (с гта 4 я познакомился раньше, чем с гта 3). в 2019 году прошёл сюжетку в рамках устроенного самому себе "марафона жта-шек"

Assim como o GTA Vice City é o meu favorito em termo de historia. Esse aqui é o que tem o personagem principal favorito. GTA IV tem um clima diferente do anteriores. Enquanto o 3 era uma vingança, o vice passa o sentimento de em busca do sucesso e o san andreas era mais defendendo a sua familia. O 4 ele traz uma energia de novo começo. Nosso personagem principal Niko Bellic sai de sua terra natal tanto por problemas pessoas como em busca de um novo começo. Já aproveitando que seu primo já tinha uma vida boa nos USA, ele pegou um barco e foi de encontro com o mesmo. Chegando aqui o sonho que o primo contava não era exatamente o que ele dizia na carta e assim começa a aventura de principal a procura de uma nova vida em um pais estrangeiro. A historia como vcs já leram, tem um drama inicial e se trabalha legal. Fica alguns pontos soltos que puxa a curiosidade do jogador, mas só pontos que não são importantes para o drama principal. O Visual trabalha com uma cidade mais industrial e um clima mais pesado. Logo tudo é muito cinza e denso. As aparencias dos personagens, sua forma de agir, pensar e interagir com os outros tanto tem um pouco de lado comico como esse peso da historia. A soundtrack tem os seus momentos agora durante algumas missões. Então deixa de ser só o silencio e radio para em missões e momentos importantes ter uma musica tocando para climatizar o que esta acontecendo. O gameplay mais uma vez deu um salto enorme. Temos praticamente todas as caracteristicas do anteriores com um novo motor engine onde tudo é mais realistico, colocando mais fisica nas coisas. Temos telefone para ligar para os outros npcs, eles nos ligam também e marcam saidas e encontros. Logo ta um imersão bem melhor no jogo. Este eu não recomendo pra todos pois ele como deixou o gameplay mais "realistico", muitas das missões de dirigir ficaram mais dificeis por conta da forma que a nova direção funciona. Eu pessoalmente gosto mas entendo que nem todos vão curtir o clima mais pesado e essas mecanicas novas. Logo é um jogo que recomendo para pessoas que gostam mais de historias mais pesadas e não se incomodam tanto de gameplay mais "realista" no nivel de simulador.

GTA IV 8 1/2 GRAFICA:8 SONORO: 91/2 GIOCABILTA':9 LONGEVITA':9 TRAMA:8+ EMOZIONE:8+ Le peripezie di Niko Bellic sono raccontate in modo forse a volte un po' approssimativo ma in definitiva questo è l'unico appunto che si può fare ad un gioco che ti impegna per 22 ore di sola trama senza contare le potenzialità infinite di Liberty city. +Mappa grossa +Intrigante trama +Sonoro a tua scelta -L'ultima missione fa smadonnare tanto -Il finale poteva essere più articolato -Personaggio che poteva essere più modificabile

My favorite GTA. Story was so immersive, the tragic ending showed the darkness of illegal business. Graphics were off beat but gameplay was quite realistic. And oh the redemption! Best. Only Rockstar can pull this off. You will fall in love with the BGM for sure.

While i enjoyed the storytelling, the characters, etc. I've honestly got tired of the game eventually with how its structured in-terms of gameplay. Other games has done this like watch dogs, but something just didn't sit with me for one reasons or another

Though grpundbreaking in many aspects (physics, npc simulation, details of the world), it was a step back after SA in terms of fun and scale.
