God of War is the sequel to God of War III as well as a continuation of the canon God of War chronology. Unlike previous installments, this game focuses on Norse mythology and follows an older and more seasoned Kratos and his son Atreus in the years since the third game. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive… and teach his son to do the same.

God of War (2018) delivers an incredible story, gameplay, and visuals. The narrative is emotional and engaging, and the combat feels satisfying and challenging especially on Give Me a Challenge difficulty. Boss fights are memorable. The graphics are stunning, and the PC port runs smoothly with no performance issues. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience and absolutely deserving of its GOTY title.

What a horribly boring game. An absolute slog. Puzzles are "where do I have to stand to throw my axe", Fights are just boringly repetitive. There are no combos, no different animations, nothing.
There is one execution per enemy type. That's it.
They got lazy, and it shows. I'm not even going to touch the story, since there is none. In 6 hours there was no character development, but Kratos said "BOY" 62 times.
No idea why this is so hyped, it's boring. Play the original series instead.
First Playthrough (Give me God of War difficulty)! Did about 90% of all optional content as well.

Ótimo game, super recomendo. Gameplay fluída, com boa progressão e personalização, para adequar ao seu modo de jogar, Atreus incoveniente como só ele, mas fora isso, ótimo mesmo! Vindo de mim, que particularmente não gosto de GoW, esses atuais me encantou.

My first God of War Game and really enjoyed it. So much so I went back to play the previous games to learn more about Kratos. Combat was really cool, like a mix of Devil May Cry hack and slash but souslike elements sprinkled in. Very well done game. Story was amazing, the worlds are beautiful and it was a very enjoyable experience. Nifleheim is the free DLC and it is a roguelike maze type encounter and it takes some getting used to but is fun once you get the hang of it. The platinum is pretty tough, especially the Valkyries but very rewarding.
Don't be sorry, be better.

Absolut geiles Game und coole Story! Auf dem höchsten Schwierigkeitsgrad auch mega herausfordernd/ teilweise kaum möglich gerade am Anfang aber dennoch einfach nur fesselnd!
Ich freue mich sehr auf Ragnarök!
