Extremely fun racing game with a lot of content, great music and maybe the best graphics on Nintendo Switch. Not reviewing because I've already covered the sequel, and this game doesn't do anything else or better, other than having different tracks.

This is a pretty darn good racing game! When it came out at Switch Launch I grabbed it to fill the void until MarioKart came out. It served its purpose well! MY friends and I had a blast with the very fast paced, F-Zero like racing. The unique boost mechanic also set it apart. I would've liked to see more cart/stat variety, unlocking the new cars felt good, but when you realized their stats barely differed from what you already had it was meh. The track design is well thought out, and does well, but is fairly basic, nothing too stand-out. All in all, I love revisiting this game once in awhile, I think it's a good modern F-Zero like game, but if you want F-Zero, play that instead.
