Play Lone Sails first, then Changing Tides for best experience. Changing Tides is an excellent sequel. While Lone Sails travel across a dried-out seabed with your unique vehicle, Changing Tides is all about the wonders of a flooded world, rife with mystery. This time, you pilot a vessel. Gameplay is very similar to "Lone Sails," with you controlling and repairing your vehicle, collecting fuel, get upgrades along the way, puzzles, and enjoying beautiful scenery. But now that you're piloting a vessel, you can dive into unknown depths. I really like the new core gameplay, which involves maneuvering the vehicle. You can use the sail or steam power or both of 'em. They've designed it very well. To use the sail, you need to raise the mast by pushing a large button with your character, similar to the one from FAR: Lone Sails used to throttle the engine. Then, rotate the sail by moving a lever to capture the wind and if you manage to keep the wind long enough, there's a white flag that if it reaches the cyan rope, grants two additional side sails for a burst of speed. As the sail finally catches the wind, that sound of tightening cloth... But be careful, your sail can collide. The other maneuver is similar to FAR: Lone Sails but with new mechanism. To operate the steam power, you’ll find a control on the platform above that will move your vessel. To the far left, the ship will move left, and to the far right, the ship will move right. If you place it in the middle, the ship won’t move. Obviously, you need fuel to run the steam, and you can fill it with stash you found inside the ocean. The steam can overheat, and you can use the hose to cool it down. The hook system makes it easier to refill the fuel. Attach the stash to the hook and then press the button below the hose platform to load up your fuel. Along the way, you find an upgrade for your vessel that can go underwater whenever you wish. Once you got it, you can attach the hose to the ballast pipe (just to the left of the hose) and fill the hose with water by pushing the lever to the right to descend your vessel. If you push the lever to the left, it'll get you up to the surface. Lots of improvements from the previous one and it's truly an excellent sequel and excellent journey. I really recommend to play Lone Sails first, then Changing Tides for best experience.

Game bacaninha porém bem mais parado do que o primeiro, por mais tenha uma surpresa na conclusão não anula toda a gameplay arastada. Visualmente ta bonito a jjogabilidade ok, musica tem em poucos momentos, não sei se é proposital mas acredito que se tivesse mais ficaria mais interessante. Bom pra passar o tempo.

Such a charming game! I had an amazing time with this as it presented beautiful imagery, fun gameplay and a relaxing experience. The game keeps adding things to your vehicle to keep things fresh and the variety of environments you explore makes it extra fun. The ending was very clever. I'm glad that I dove into this gem.

Very chill exploration/resource management game. I wouldn't really categorize this game as a platformer since most of the game your in water but there's the occasional platforming. Charming art style and story! It's possible to get soft locked at around the half way point, but the checkpoints are frequent enough to where it's not too big of an issue and if you make sure to hoard every bit of fuel you should be fine. All in all a great game that should take around 6hrs if you take it slow. TLDR: Great game and story, fun to sail around and explore! Make sure to hoard the fuel haha PS: This is a sequel so be sure to check out the first game! I did not know till half way through so i'll definitely be playing it!

Sequel that is on par with the first game. I'm glad to have more but I didn't necessarily need more, and this didn't leave me wanting more.

Хорошее продолжение, с новым интересным геймплеем. Отличный саунд, хотя его местами явно не хватает. Есть проблемы в затянутости игры. Но приятная атмосфера и связка с 1 частью сглаживают эти моменты.

1作目よりもグラフィックがきれいになった。ゲーム性は良くも悪くも1作目と同じ。ただ、1作目に比べると何も操作していない時間が多かった。次々に燃料を燃やして忙しいくらいでいいと思う。エンディングはよかった。
