Epistory is an atmospheric adventure typing game that tells the story of a writer lacking inspiration who asks her muse to help write her latest book. In Epistory you play the muse, a fictional character in a world where everything is untold. Your adventure begins on a blank page, but the world will soon become larger and livelier as you gather inspiration, solve its mysteries and defeat its enemies. From movement to opening chests and fighting in epic battles, every element in the game is controlled exclusively with the keyboard. As you progress and explore the fantasy origami world, the story literally unfolds in the writer’s mind and the mysteries of the magic power of the words are revealed.

Origami style world where you must defeat enemies and traverse the world by typing words on your keyboard. Veryinteresting concept, and surpprisingly enjoyable. Epistory immerses you in an atmospheric action/adventure game where you play a girl riding a giant fox who fights an insectile corruption from an origami world. As you progress and explore this world, the story literally unfolds and the mysteries of the magic power of the words are revealed.

This was such a lovely adventure. I love the artwork and atmosphere and I really enjoyed that you had to type to use abilities. The story was really interesting as well.

Je ne l'ai pas fini hélas, peut-être un jour ? Là, je l'ai mis de côté après la session de découverte, et je n'ai pas accroché "suffisamment" pour le reprendre derrière juste parce que j'ai trop trop de jeux à faire et que ça n'entre pas dans mon style de prédilection : le jeu n'y est pour rien ! Sinon, j'aime beaucoup le concept, et je trouve que le jeu a l'air vraiment sympa, tant par le gameplay (qui serait peut-être un chouilla redondant sur la longueur mais bon ça va quoi ^^) que les visuels. L'histoire a l'air Ok aussi de ce que j'en ai vue. À voir dans l'avenir si je le relance pour le finir, car je n'en exclus vraiment pas la possibilité ^^

It's a neat idea but I'm getting a little confused on the story progression and it's such a pain to keep hooking up the keyboard to my Switch so I'm noping out of this. I probably got 60 percent of the way through the game, perhaps more, but either way I just can't be bothered to finish this. The game is a little swarmier than I would like and it also feels unnecessarily forgiving with typing mistakes as well(to compensate for swarming I suppose).

Beautiful & fun journey. Unique experience especially for me who love typing game & someone who wants to test typing skill. Wait a sec, why typing? Just like the title says, 'Typing Chronicles' players will fight the enemies (insects) by typing the word above it. (Believe it or not, there'll be this long word that I even screamed while typing it). As the story progress, players will unlock magic powers & they need to type the magic word in order to use it to defeat specific enemies. Other thing that I like is players can either move with W A S D or E F J I. As soon as I placed my fingers on E F J I, I finally understand why, it's the basic to learn typing with 10 fingers. Furthermore, I really like the paper craft concept (from visual to sound) & revealing a new world with origami animation. There are some mini puzzles to be solve, and all you need is just a keyboard (Though I use mouse for scrolling main menu).

Epistory is one of those games that I continually come back to. It's a wonderful blend of beautiful, calming puzzle game, great typing practice, and occasional moments of intense battling with words. The story itself is calming, if a bit unremarkable, but the music, play style, and the beautiful unfolding world around you is worth visiting over and over.

it is a really good game if you need to learn to type words, however the story is allso a really good one, sadly do thing the speed of typing becomes to fast eraly on in the game

Un gameplay qui sort de l'ordinaire puisqu'il faut taper les mots adéquats pour faire les bonnes actions ! Le lore est vraiment cool, le gameplay également !

8 out of 10. My fingers are killing from those huge sausages of random letters added to it. The game had a lot of potential, but focused too much on speed on not to much on expanding the vocabulary and complexity.
