I love rogue-likes and I love Souls. Another no brainer. And I do love it! They really made something fun and interesting with Nightreign and the support the game has gotten straight off of launch has been fantastic. I did the platinum for this game in a trio and it wasn't too bad of an experience. It was fun to hang with my friends who also enjoyed hunting for the trophies so it made our goals for each run very interesting to how we would adapt during runs. The only downside to Nightreign is the multiplayer aspect. If you aren't in a team and you queue with randoms it can either be the worst hour of your life or the best. People don't understand the cooperation aspect and if they die they disconnect leaving you and the other teammate (if they also didnt leave). Nightreign sorely needs some QOL into it to combat people leaving - at present if you are the last person in a mission and leave it slaps you with the penalty warning. You should be allowed to disband without a penalty if you're the last person but the revive system is also not something I'm fond of. I get they were going for something different but the amount of hits you need to revive a player on 2 or 3 bars is essentially not worth your time. Overall a really fun and enjoyable experience with friends and there is always new content coming out so worth playing.

Ist ein ganz cooles Spin Off für diejenigen, die ältere Souls Bosse im neuen Stil bekämpfen wollen. Meiner Meinung nach ein zu monotones Gameplay, welches nicht all zu viel Abwechslung bietet, hat aber dennoch seine geilen Momente!

C'est un Elden Ring donc bien sur que c'est génial mais j'ai malheureusement perdu le goût des Soul'slike.. Après la partie coop reste super cool et marrante parfois xD Voilà mon très petit avis sur le jeu ^^

Story

The game is fun if you like soulslike gameplay, but the relic system (currently the only system of permanent progression) is a little disappointing. It feels rather unrewarding, as most of the random relics you get are bad or just ok. The game nails the combat, but I feel like as a roguelite it misses the mark. It's extremely rare to really feel powerful, usually only due to finding some rare special legendary weapons, and not from the permanent progression you grind. Anyway I have fun with the game, but it has its issues. I hope they continue to improve the game and make a more meaningful grind.
