As much as I love dragon ball... This is a step up from the last one and it still slaps. It's kinda hard to find a copy of it that does not cost over 100$

I never had this game growing up and actually got Raging Blast 2 instead believing that the sequel would have everything the first game had and more. Unfortunately, the developers got lazy in certain ways with the sequel. The reason why I went back to this one was to see what the story mode was like and what the What-If stories were. First thing I'd like to say about this game is that it has a very flat art-style. I was never really a fan of it, but I think I overall prefer it compared to the sequel's overly highlighted character models. Second thing I'd like to note is that, like the sequel, the gameplay feels like a imitation of the Tenkaichi series' gameplay but is lacking in multiple ways. While it looks like the same game on the surface and the basic combat plays similarly, the nuances of the PS2 era games just isn't there. First thing anyone will immediately notice is that it feels very slow and clunky by comparison as well as not having as many options. As a result, it just feels like gameplay progession has gone backwards. The invincibility frames were inconsistent and very odd while the cool down for speecial/ultimate attacks took way too long. Story mode feels rather lazy as well, though it does playout similarly to how Tenkaichi 3's did with voice acting during the fights and short scenes before, during, and after them. I don't feel like going into much more detail so I'll summarize it this way: This is a slow and boring version of Tenkaichi. There are nice additions to the gameplay but they don't make up for everything that it lacks. Just nowhere near as fun. Play Tenkaichi 3 instead.
