An HD Remaster of Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening - Special Edition, included in "Devil May Cry HD Collection." Devil May Cry 3 takes place before the events of the first game. In this installment, you can choose different close-combat styles like Swordmaster and Gunslinger, and it's up to you which style you decide to develop and improve on. This Special Edition lets you play as Dante's brother Vergil.

I never got to try Devil May Cry 3 when it first came out so i'm glad that i now have the chance. I've been told that this is one of the best DMC games and it's a fan favourite, and i can see why. The game is definitely a fun hack and slash, action adventure game. It has a really intriguing story, and i wanted to keep on playing to further the plot. The cutscenes were in glorious PS2 era graphics and i'm always a fan of PS2 graphics. There's a certain charm and nostalgic feel to it, at least for me. DMC3 is fun but it can get really tough to get through. I love a good challenge, and this game serves a good challenge whenever it can. When a Boss fight is hard to beat, the game allows you to study its attack patterns to discourage you from spamming your attacks. Hence, being strategic and calculative in when you want to get your hits in are important. However, i have encountered certain Bosses where their attacks were either spammy or they don't give you enough window to either dodge or get a hit in. I think it's a badly designed enemy if their attacks are spammy or stun-lock you, to give you the illusion that the Boss fight is "hard". I understand that it was a design choice of this era, to prolong the gameplay length. I personally am not in favour of this design choice. Fortunately, most of the Boss fights were fair. Tough but you can study their attack patterns and beat them after many tries. It's really rewarding when you've been struggling with a Boss fight and you figure out a strat and beat it on your own. The map is badly designed. I could hardly figure out how to read it so i ended up not using it most of the time. I still had fun with DMC3 and it is still worth trying. If you have never tried a DMC game, the 3rd entry is a good place to start, as it is a prequel to DMC 1. Just keep in mind that it's a really tough game for the casual gamer.

PRO: although every style is cool, the extra mobility of Trickster overshadows the rest CON: it is a shame that you have to finish the game first in order to play as the cooler brother

Presente nella devil may cry collection, come il primo DMC presenta una rimasterizzazione essenziale con i filmati in risoluzione originale ma i 60 fps in-game. DMC 3 ha salvato la saga e l'ha rimessa in carreggiata dopo il fallimento del 2 grazie ad un espansione del grande combat system del primo gioco che si è ampliato aggiungendo la possibilità di cambiare gli stili(feat. davvero eccellente che aggiunge grande varietà al sistema) e velocizzando il tutto aumentando sensibilmente la difficoltà del prodotto. A tutto questo se aggiungiamo una storia decisamente più avvincente e diversi personaggi fighissimi e carismatici(Vogliamo davvero parlare del giullare Jaster?) ecco che ci troviamo di fronte ad un titolo superiore in toto al primo DMC. Graficamente il gioco fa ancora la sua figura e la zarraggine è aumentata a dismisura. Non vedo l'ora di giocare a DMC 5 visto che il 4 me lo guarderò tutto in video perchè scalpito dalla voglia di voler vedere come è stato attualizzato ai giorni nostri un franchise cosi inizio anni 2000. DMC 3 è un capolavoro del passato che ancora oggi sa divertire chiunque, a patto di avere pazienza con un gameplay figo e zarro ma anche molto difficile che richiede dedizione e grinding.

DMC 3 is the highlight of the series undoubtably, no higher consistency in its series. Though I do prefer DMC 5 Dante admittedly. This game has some wonky enemy design, and that's the only thing I could think of to bring it down, but the rest is too good to not have it be a 5/5

[PLATINADO] Uno de los mejores de la saga y un platino que he disfrutado hasta el ultimo segundo. Toca seguir con los demás que ya tengo el platino del 1, 2 y 3 pero me faltan los de el 4, 5 y DMC
