Death End Re;Quest 2 was...interesting. I have to say, a few things in the story didn't quite make sense, and there was one part that really just had me flabbergasted with how stupid it seemed. Having important parts of the story locked behind a second playthrough is a bit meh. That said, the EX true end wrecked me. I hope the third game ties everything together neatly (Copium) Similar to the first game, the gameplay isn't really anything special. It works, and super knockbacks are fun, but that's about it. Knockback is pretty important, almost needed. The music is pretty good, there were a few pieces from the first game and some new ones that I was jamming to when I heard them. As for Visuals, I still love Death End Re;Quest's art style, though once again I wish the glitch modes weren't so...revealing. Yeah yeah, muh fanservice, but it just seems a little forced. Overall a decent but flawed game.

Pro: - improved music and refined battle - New characters are very likeable - The twist near the end was well executed Con: - Death scenes are very lacking in this one - Many elements and connections are not well explained - Only 3 new PC, the rest are rehashed - NG+ just to see a couple of extra scenes felt unneccesary
