Humorous action-platformer that does away with the tedious item collection found in most games in the genre. Instead, BFD employs a combination of standard jump, run and explore mechanics and context-sensitive gags and actions. For instance, in the beginning of the game, by pressing the B button on the first pad he encounters, Conker drinks some Alka-Seltzer to wipe out his hangover, at which point players can proceed forward. Later on these pads are used to activate a slingshot and throwing knives; to turn Conker into an anvil and drop downward; to shoot automatic, double-handed guns; to activate a The Matrix-inspired slow-motion effect and flip through the air shooting enemies; and much, much more.

Starting off with the biggest positive: The soundtrack. The game soundtrack lives up to hype, as it carries on the tradition of good level music, like it's predecessor Banjo & Kazooie.
Gameplay at the start is interesting with the platforming segments, also the B button used for special actions, when standing on or near specific spots. Sometimes the game would give you a weapon, which would be useful if the aiming part wasn't slow and it might be a skill issue.
I get this game was design for adults but some jokes and bits wasn't for me like the Sunflower. The great mighty poo gave me laughter and using a dino to munch on a caveman's behind.
The story towards the end kinda focuses on more movie references and less about the platforming, which is the main genre for Conker. One level felt so tedious as you had to escape somewhere, sounds easy right? Enemies with better aim than me or accidently getting shot in the air was an issue because they were positioned in ways that made it difficult to get through.
In conclusion, I expected an adult Banjo & Kazooie game and it didn't really live up to my expectations. I wanted to love this, as I wish Rare made a new Banjo game ... Apart from the amazing mods made by fans, it seems Rare have moved on from Banjo.
The game's a hit and miss, but you should experience it just once!

One of Rares weaker titles. A rare product of its time that is worth experiencing simply for its crass and crude nature, but will probably have you pull your hair out during its most frustrating moments.
its super funny, great visuals, gameplay is wonky and really weird. Wasted many hours on the multiplayer with my brother and cousin, good times.

For a linear game, still holds a special place in my heart, I enjoy playing it whenever I'm in the mood.
Equal parts fun and fruestrating but the caroony raunchyness and absurdity makes it worth the struggle
One of my favorite N64 games ever. I felt bad ass playing a mature game as a kid. 🤣

Juego muy divertido, gracioso y entretenido, no le pesan los años para nada y se te pasa el tiempo volando, además de añadir muchas referencias a la cultura pop

Everything after Sloprano was downhill lol
Fun 3D retro platformer until the last sections of the game, in particular the military portion. A little too crass for me at points, but that's the novelty for a game on a Nintendo platform.

This game! The developers did not care about what people were going to think and I like that! Take the risk and wow what a game it was! Must play. Maybe not for kids though.
To this day this has to be the most unbelievable game in the category "Nintendo". This game was blunt, rude and absolutely what we need more of instead of pussy-footing around everything.
Was very funny and the story was a blast! Definitely has aged quite a lot at this point in terms of gameplay but I still had a great time experiencing it for the first time!
