The game brings "open combat, " offering players more choices in approaching the single-player missions. Makarov returns as the chief villain of the new campaign. The newly introduced Carry Forward system will let players keep their progression and inventory from Modern Warfare II. Multiplayer fans can expect 16 maps at the launch and at least 12 coming later. Zombies mode will also return and should offer the largest zombie map to date.

No Commentary Let's play for Playground Archives. The Third and as of now final entry into the Rebooted Modern Warfare Series. This time the game was not made by Infinity Ward as a main studio but rather Sledgehammer Games. The Campaing here is uhhhhhh servicable at best. But if we factor that they had 18 months to develop entire game (originally just an Expansion for MWII 2022) it's a miracle that they managed to do something rather good. The open combat missions were fun for me and definetly felt better in my eyes since the game wasn't killing me immediatly if i don't follow the scripted events of the campaing missions. This game was definetly more fun even if we factor the Multiplayer Portion of it. In the Multiplayer i've clocked around 100 hours during it's lifespan (started playing around Season 4) and was the most enjoyable expirince's i've played in a long time. While the campaing sucked and the launch wasn't the greatest the post-launch was the best ever from the entire franchise and Sledgehammer games definetly won the community trust and wanting to see their next PROPER game rather than being told last minute to make a full game in 18 Months. Solid Entry overall.

Wasn't a massive fan of the open style missions but the story and the visuals were excellent. Very cool to see a remastered section of Verdansk!

Alors.. autant je peux accepter l'histoire et certaine liberté comparé a l'original. autant le gameplay c'est non, et ca aurait pu être réussi mais.. les système de loot box comme sur Warzone, c'est non.. l'infiltration a vraiment été mal jaugé, l'ennemi te repère bien trop vite et ce, même en facile. C'est dommage parce que le potentiel du jeu était présent mais mal développé..

Having replayed Modern Warfare (2019), and Modern Warfare II (2022), ahead of experiencing Modern Warfare 3 (2023) for the first time, it sadly highlighted a gradual decline in the quality of the campaigns Modern Warfare (2019) was fantastic. A tight, well crafted story, fun and engaging combat and set pieces, and a great cast of characters. Modern Warfare II, took this as a foundation, and was still a good entry, but far from its predecessor. Modern Warfare 3, by comparison felt short, half baked and lazy. The introduction of open world missions, was an odd choice. Gone was the cinematic scope, replaced by generic cookie cutter content which recycled elements from the multiplayer at the detriment of a more scripted, narrative driven experience. That isn't to say there weren't some choice highlights to be had. Highrise, offered a really fun level where you battled solo from the bottom to the top of an apartment complex. When the game worked, it really worked. But the 14 missions on offer just didn't feel like enough. I was honestly surprised when the game ended and the credits started to roll as it felt like an abrupt and undercooked story that wasn't really all that done. Having picked up the game at half price, I'm not mad at it. And I honestly feel like playing all three back to back, was the way to go, for better and, sadly, for worse.
