Si tu aimes l'ambiance des vieux Fallout mais avec une touche britannique très S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Atomfall est une excellente surprise. Le cadre du Lake District après une catastrophe nucléaire change vraiment des déserts américains habituels : c'est vert, brumeux et super oppressant.
Côté gameplay, c'est assez exigeant. Les ressources sont rares et les combats peuvent vite devenir punitifs si tu fonces dans le tas. La narration est le gros point fort ; on sent que Rébellion a soigné le mystère autour de la zone de quarantaine. Par contre, techniquement, c’est pas parfait : quelques animations sont un peu rigides et l'interface manque parfois de clarté. C'est un jeu avec du caractère, un peu 'brut de décoffrage', mais si tu accroches à l'exploration et à l'enquête, l'immersion est totale.

This game looks and runs fantastic, but that's about where the good points end. The combat is clunky to say the least, stealth doesn't seem to work well either, and the traversal to talk to NPCs half way across the world to piece the story together wasn't for me.

Very generic feeling game. There was also quite a lot of hype behind the game, but didn't live up to it.

أندمجت فيها إلى النهاية الغموض فيها يشد وتعتمد بشكل كبير على استكشافك الشخصي، ما فيه مهمات تقليدية ولازم تجمع الأدلة من الشخصيات والمستندات بنفسك، أكثر شيء استمتعت فيه بعد الرسومات هو تصميم الخريطة؛ مليانة أماكن سرية وأنفاق مترابطة، العالم ما هو ضخم لكنه كبير كفاية عشان تستمتع بالاستكشاف ومناسب عشان تجتازه بسرعة

تصحى بعد كارثة وأنت فاقد الذاكرة، وتكتشف إنك داخل منطقة معزولة وممنوع الخروج منها. ولأن مافي طريق واضح للهروب، تبدأ تستكشف وتحاول تفهم وش اللي صار، وتتعرف على أشخاص وتسمع قصصهم ومواقفهم، وهنا يجي دورك: تعتمد على تحليلك وتقرر تثق بمين وتغدر بمين. هالجانب كان محير جدًا وأبدعوا فيه، ولازم تكون حريص باختيارك لأنك ممكن تختار شخص ويكون صادق، وممكن يغدر فيك بالنهاية. طبعًا اللعبة فيها 6 نهايات مختلفة حسب اختياراتك
الاستكشاف هو أجمل شيء باللعبة بسبب الحرية بنظام المهام، لأنه مافيه مهام رئيسية كل اللي عندك عبارة عن أدلة، وكل دليل ممكن يدلك على شخصية جديدة أو معلومة مهمة، أو حتى يختصر عليك الطريق للنهاية. وهالجانب كان فعلاً أكثر شيء مميز ومعطيها طابع ضياع جميل
القصة عادية لكن طريقة سردها والتفاعل معها كانت ممتعة، ومع إن فيه جوانب كثيرة باللعبة متواضعة وبعضها سيئة، إلا إني كنت متغاضي عن العيوب لأني كنت مستمتع بالاستكشاف ومتحمس أشوف تحليلي واختياراتي وين بتوديني! وهل الشخص اللي وثقت فيه كان يستاهل الثقة أو لا؟

Paia. Tive uma grande expectativa, mas no fim só tive foi um grande sono a jogar ele, reconheço aqueles que gostem deste tipo de jogo que é bem mais quieto, sem muito o que fazer mas não era isso que eu procurava aqui. Até fui ver spoilers do final e achei mais paia ainda.
