Alone in the Dark
Alone in the Dark is one of the first survival horror games and the first to utilize 3D models superimposed on pre-rendered backgrounds, which would become a key inspiration for upcoming horror games at the time, like the Resident Evil franchise. The player can use various weapons, such as pistol, rifle, swords and knives, though it is possible to kill most enemies with melee attacks. Some opponents can be beaten by solving a particular puzzle, while a significant number of opponents cannot be killed at all or only with certain weapons.

PRO: slapping eldritch horrors to death is never not funny
CON: even if it was revolutionary when the game released back in 1992, nowadays the controls are a bit too jank even by my standards

Одна из моих любимейших игр, хоть она кривая и простенькая, она была прародительницей жанра survival horror. Она не очень длинная (около 4-5 часов), поэтому обязательно попробуйте, если не боитесь игр на DOS. Там может быть не самое приятное управление и звуки.

Tan poco habia avanzado en su momento que recien en el 2024 me termino dando cuenta tenia elementos lovecraftianos en su historia.
La verdad algunos de los puzzles de estos juegos viejos no se como se resolverian si guia. Yo ni me molesto. Juegos de cierta edad se juegan con guia o no se juegan. O con save state. Lo importante es divertirse.
