The game that made parkour cool before it was cool. Sands of Time nailed fluid platforming and stylish wall-running way back in 2003. The Prince moves like a gymnast — flipping, vaulting, and wall-running through trap-filled palaces like a medieval ninja. The parkour still feels smooth, smart, and satisfying. Time-rewind powers let you undo mistakes mid-jump or mid-fight, and the story’s “storybook” narration gives the whole game a fairy tale vibe. Combat, though? Repetitive. And the camera can be a real pain, especially in tight spots. ✅ Pros: Legendary parkour platforming Clever time-rewind mechanic Great voice acting & storytelling ❌ Cons: Repetitive combat Janky camera angles Some outdated controls In summary: Parkour perfection with some early-2000s clunk. Still worth your time.

Immediately you can see the influence this game had on gaming after it launched and yes a few camera angle fights, and visuals could use a nice brush up now. Still was wonderful to see and play

I liked this game during this revisit in 2021. I always felt like the combat was too easy and kind of braindead though.
