Uh, so, I beat it? It's a question because it didn't feel like I did, honestly. Picked it up after a while, did some story missions, and roll the credits. I dunno if it's a shorter game, but also I wasn't really paying attention to the story. I skipped through most of the clunky dialogue, it just felt like the story wasn't all that important. If you know DBZ, then you already know what to expect mostly. The game has lots of activities and side quests you can do, but it's never been "vital" to follow those. Most of the Parallel Quests I did was to level up a bit more before carrying on with the story missions. I haven't tried much of the online functions, I find the time limit for being online a weird concept, but everyone gets a turn I guess. The combat was fun, learning new powerful skills to match the build you want. Earning money felt like a chore. Music is not so great at times. Visually, it was interesting, and felt like DBZ. Overall, I say it's a fun game to play when you wanna fly around punching people.

All'inizio di quest anno viene inaspettatamente annunciato il suo seguito e accolgo la notizia con moderata soddisfazione vista la paura di una rovinata della saga. Xenoverse 2 invece si dimostra fin dall'inizio essere un ottimo seguito del titolo originale: dopo una personalizzazione del personaggio piuttosto simile al gioco precendente ci ritroviamo catapultati a Coton city, nuova hub di gioco, decisamente grande e ricca di posti diversi rivelandosi un vero colpo d'occhio rispetto alla ben più piccola e scarna Tokitoki city del primo capitolo. La storyline è carina ma non riesce mai a prendere veramente il giocatore, che si ritrova ad andare avanti spinto soprattutto dal gameplay di cui parlerò tra poco e dalla mole di cose da fare. Infatti in Xenoverse 2 le cose da fare sono letteralmente duplicate rispetto al primo capitolo , grazie alla presenza di tantissimi maestri (finalmente non sbloccabili in maniera casuale come nel primo),diverse modalità e sottostorie,tantissime missioni parallele e diversi "allenamenti speciali" cioè sostanzialmente dei minigiochi utili per incassare oggetti ed equipaggiamenti. Il gameplay di Xenoverse 2 è quello del primo. Cioè perfetto come picchiaduro 3D che viene ulteriormente rifinito grazie all aggiunta di diverse nuove abilità e trasformazioni. Tecnicamente il gioco risulta essere decisamente più curato rispetto al primo capitolo pur non stupendo per realizzazioni particolarmente fuori di testa. Diciamo che rispetto al primo il gioco è molto più fluido e stabile grazie ad un frame-rate granitico anche nelle situazioni più concitate e l'illuminazione sembra essere migliorata parecchio. Non benissimo il sonoro, che propone diverse canzoncine nella hub di gioco ma nessuna di queste riesce neanche lontanamente ad avvicinarsi a quella storica del primo(comunque presente in una zona specifica della mappa anche se in versione orchestrale). Rispetto al primo capitolo si possono sbloccare molti più personaggi quindi il gioco diventa molto divertente anche in multiplayer locale, cosa che decisamente mancava di mordente nel primo gioco. Il punto più dolente del gioco però sono i server. E ciò è piuttosto grave siccome si tratta di un gioco con una fortissima componente multiplayer online. Addirittura non giocando in multiplayer ma restando semplicemente online, mi sono ritrovato sbattuto fuori dalla hub di gioco una decina di volte e rimandato alla schermata del titolo per crash dei server. Come longevità la trama ha una discreta durata e la durata della fruizione generale del gioco può essere considerata davvero di grande livello vista la quantità di cose da fare. Và però detto che il gioco innova davvero pochissimo rispetto al titolo originale quindi per chi ( come me) ha spolpato fino al midollo Xenoverse 1 le motivazioni per esempio per affrontare tutte le missioni parallele dopo la conclusione del gioco sono decisamente basse. Xenoverse 2 mi ha accompagnato in un freddo e pesante novembre 2016 e ,molto probabilmente, sarà l'ultimo gioco su ps4 dell anno. Non sono riuscito a giocare in maniera molto continua ma ,grazie alla storia non difficile e al gameplay brillante, non ha gravato sulla mia esperienza di gioco.

Um ótimo jogo de luta, mas depois da campanha principal vc precisa grindar o jogo demais, pra poder aproveitar ele todo, talvez esse seja o problema dele ser online.

Played this on pc AND PS4... that was a mistake. Influential game which has lots of copycats now. The pvp is toxic, but the action rpg on the rest of it was pretty good...

While i LOVE Dragonball, this game was fun for a while, but lost its charm pretty quickly. though that is mostly because im not good with fighting games myself. (most of the hours on this game are from my brother using my account)

One of the best Dragonball games out there to play coop/online. Story not something too unique or interesting, it's picking up the same idea as Xenoverse 1 with some extra characters and plot. Main story is the original Dragonball Z and DLC's that add Super and GT in there. Great fighting mechanics besides the locking system if you want to target an ally.
